Jason M. Gudaitis, CPA founded the firm so he could utilize his diverse background in taxation, accounting, investment banking and business development to advise entrepreneurs on implementing wealth building strategies and minimizing taxes.
Mr. Gudaitis is a Certified Public Accountant who has been practicing in the accounting and financial industry for over 21 years. The foundation of this experience was built and developed over 15 years of working in public accounting. During this time he managed clients for both national and local CPA firms where the clients he served ranged from small businesses and wealthy investors to multinational public companies. He specializes is advising businesses and individuals on accounting and tax planning strategies.
His experience includes financial statement analysis, entity structuring, tax planning and tax compliance for many types of business entity structures including but not limited to C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Single Member Limited Liability Companies, Sole Proprietorship's and joint venture arrangements. This experience has given him the advantage of being able to work with complicated issues associated with 1031 exchanges, installment sales, foreign transactions regulated by FIRPTA, divorce related issues and start up business investments.
To note a few of the advisory services he has performed include developing pro-forma financial models for new business investments and commercial real estate transactions. He has successfully negotiated the terms, structure and letter of intent with very sophisticated lenders during the financing stages of the investment process. Other projects have consisted of providing outsourced controllership and CFO services to clients on both an interim and long-term basis.
He has drafted and prepared financial statements including all relevant disclosures for audit, review and compilation engagements. In addition, he has performed services which include preparation of Personal Financial Statements for High-Net-Worth Individuals and management-use only financial statements which are utilized by company directors for internal decision-making purposes.
In his prior role at Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, Inc., Mr. Gudaitis was responsible for the acquisition of syndicated real estate portfolios valued at over $100 million. He developed financial analysis to model capital contributions, sources and uses of funds, acquisition costs, development costs, operating costs and cash flow to determine risk and after-tax yield on equity.
Mr. Gudaitis started his career at the “Big 4” International Accounting firm KPMG LLP, where he worked across numerous industries including healthcare, insurance, commercial real estate, investment banking and asset management.
